The stretch of the River Thames in southwest London, known as the tideway, is where we at the RVC Boat Club can call our "home turf". This section of the river is particularly well known for the large number of boathouses that line it's banks, making it a very busy stretch of water.
One of these hubs of rowing activity is the University of London Boathouse, within walking distance of the end post of the world-famous Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race at Chiswick Bridge. Being located here gives our crews a huge expanse of water to train on twice a week and is within easy reach from both Campuses. We share the boathouse with several other London-based (mainly larger and medical) colleges alongside the Univeristy of London's own boatclub, altogether providing an excellent source of knowledge, coaching, inspiration and friendly faces!

Currently with a fleet of 3 VIIIs and 1 IV, we are looking to expand our boat collection to offer improved training and competition to our current members and to increase the number of rowers that we can accommodate in future. Any fundraising or sponsorship ideas? Let one of us know!
The RVC Boat Club continues to go from strength to strength despite our reduced numbers in comparison to other colleges and everything the club stands for is an undeniable tribute to all past and present RVC rowers.
