Graduated BSc Bio Veterinary Sciences
I’ve enjoyed three brilliant years as a scientist at the RVC, during which I fully immersed myself in the clubs, societies and the culture of the college. It’s been a fantastic experience. I’ve learned so much about the challenges that students face in their work and leisure. I’ve also learned that RVC students are resourceful, enthusiastic and great fun to be with. I have developed a deep understanding of how students ‘tick’ and what they want from their Union. As President I will build on the sterling work of my predecessors over the years, in order to create a Union that will be the envy of other colleges in London and beyond.
I'm Helen and I'm your SUS Deputy President for 2011/12. I joined the RVC in 2009 as a graduate, completed the G&T course and I’m now a 4th year BVetMed. I was the SUS Deputy President last year too. I'm a goalie on the women's hockey team, spend far too much time playing my Xbox 360, read more novels than is probably healthy and really enjoy a good night in or out with friends. I'm known to be a tremendous lightweight and embarrass myself without fail on every night out. I'm outspoken, slightly eccentric, willing to listen and will always endeavour to answer student queries quickly and efficiently. You are welcome to contact me any time of day or night with any query - no matter how small you think it is! My email is sudeputypresident@rvc.ac.uk and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. I would like to extend a warm welcome to all new students and welcome all others back for the new term and hope you have an excellent year!

I’m Sam and I’m a 3rd year BVetMed. I may be a familiar face to some of you and can usually be found propping up the bar at whatever social event I’m attending! In my role as welfare officer I hope I can help as many people as possible, in my time at the RVC I think I’ve been through pretty much everything and so I hope I can offer a helping hand to those in need (or a least a sympathetic ear/shoulder to cry on!). In my role as 2nd year rep I came to appreciate just how many services and dedicated staff that the RVC has to offer and I feel confident I can get you in touch with the right people whatever your worry. Anyway I’ll keep this short and sweet, I hope we have a great year and remember that I’m anyways available to help!
Hi, I'm Racquel, the welfare officer based at the camden campus. I'm a former gateway student now in my second year so I know the ins and outs of the Camden campus pretty well (in theory, anyway!) and I can usually be found wandering around somewhere in college. I'm always happy to lend a hand or just a listening ear whenever I'm needed. After all, that's what i'm here for! In my role I'll be working closely with Student Support, ensuring that you have the best univeristy experience imaginable.

Hi we're Stanze and Daisy, both BVetMed Students Daisy in third and Stanze second year. We're currently planning to stuff this year with as many social events as possible, so prepare yourselves for one hell of a year! RVC nights out are the BEST nights out, so get your party shoes and pulling pants on!

I have been at the RVC since the dawn of time and I'm a D101 student. I'm currently entering 4th year of the BVetMed component.
I'm your IVSA Rep for 2011/2012. I've been at the RVC since 2006(!); I began as a BSc Vet Sci and I'm now in the 4th year of the BVetMed degree. I got involved with the IVSA early in 2011 and I want to ensure that everyone knows what we do. The IVSA is like the ultimate AVS - we operate on a worldwide scale. If you are remotely considering working abroad, want to travel, are thinking about learning/improving a language or just fancy a laugh in a foreign country with a bunch of vets then you need to get involved.
