The RVC provides a wide range of welfare services to help you with your time at University. Each year we try and improve these services with the help of the staff at the RVC.
The SU has dedicated officers for welfare. They help organise events throughout the year promoting welfare as well as being a student representaive for the RVC. They are also there to lend an ear if you have a problem and are always available to contact by email. All information will be treated as confidential. The officers for this year are Sam Eley (HH campus) and Racquel Spencer (camden campus).
Free Condoms (including non-latex ones), Chlamydia Tests and even Pregnancy Tests are available upon request.
Welfare week is a week of events, practicals and lectures aimed at widening the perception of welfare at the RVC. It's entirely optional and generally occurs after uni hours. It often includes free condoms, leaflets and other goodies. Its aim is to raise awareness of many issues that affect our students, whether its uni/vet related, student related just general everday stuff!

The RVC has a range of dedicated staff to help with welfare.
All matters regarding disabilities and dyslexia, as well as arranging testing and any special requirements you may have, are seen to by the student support team. You can email them on disability@rvc.ac.uk.
Simon Beale in the Academic Registry is available to help with questions relating to student finance. He can be contacted by email. If more urgent advice is needed please click here or call the Student Debtline on 0800 3281813 (Mon-Fri 8am-8pm).
Fiona Nouri is our lovely and friendly Student Support Service Manager. She is based at Camden Campus. If there is a problem you haven't been able to solve she is the person to speak to. She can be contacted by email.
Nova Reid is our new Student Support Adviser. She's our new fulltime member of Student Support based up at Hawkshead Campus, and is your first port of contact at HH campus. She can direct you on to the relevent person if she cant answer you herself. Her email is studentsupport@rvc.ac.uk.
Learning Support is made up of the Learning support manager, Belinda Yamagishi, who can be found at Camden Campus, and the learning support officer, Vicky Dale (who has taken over for Rachel Davis), who's based at Hawkshead Campus.

The RVC has a counselling service available to students provided by the University of Hatfield. Counsellors are availble on Wednesdays at both campuses. If you have any questions or would like to book a session they can be contacted by email or by calling 01707 284453 ( Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. More information can be found on their website.
College only provides a referral service for occupational health, via APRICOT/PRUNE, your tutor or student support.

The RVC employs a Chaplain, Reverand Phillipa A. Turner. She is availble to provide pastoral care for all students regardless of religion. She can be contacted by email or by calling 0207 4685145 or 07525 234382.
The RVC also provides a prayer room which is availble at both campuses 24hrs a day.
